Posted on December 13, 2017

Can you believe Christmas is only two weeks away?! Now, more than ever, it's important to remember this time of year is all about spending time with loved ones. That's exactly why you should join us during the last weekend of the Santa Claus Christmas Celebration. Spend the weekend in a cozy cabin surrounded by your loved ones celebrating the holiday season. But, don't wait to book your stay! This is your last chance to enjoy all of the special events and activities during the Christmas Celebration, and there are tons of special events to look forward to.
Here's the Ultimate Christmas Celebration Itinerary: Week 3:
Follow this guide for tons of holiday fun!

Friday, December 15:

When you get into town, everyone will probably be ready to eat. At Christmas Dinner with Santa, the family can enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner, milk, cookies, and story time with Santa and his elf. Then head to Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort for the Santa Claus Land of Lights. After spending some time with Santa, your little ones will love seeing his reindeer in brilliant LED lights. And, every car gets a free photo with Rudolph!

Saturday, December 16:

Start your day with a big breakfast. Check out this blog post for detailed info on local dining options during the Christmas Celebration. By now your little ones are probably dying to see Santa! Visit him at the Santa Claus Christmas Store. Browse thousands of ornaments, or pick one out to get personalized for free while you're there. Visit the Santa Claus Museum & Village for Christmas Carols with Bomar and Ritter from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm CT. Santa meets with plenty of children, so make sure you write him a letter at the original Santa Claus Post Office.  It's free, and every child that writes a letter will receive a reply as long as the letter is submitted by December 21, 2017. The historic Santa statue is a great family photo opportunity. At 2:00 pm CT, storyteller Susan Fowler presents The Story of Santa Claus, an interactive performance for the whole family. If your family loves festive light displays, drive through the Festival of Lights inside Christmas Lake Village. Or, drive through the Land of Lights again. We won't judge you - it only comes around once a year! Choose from over 30 flavors of gourmet hot chocolate at Santa's Candy Castle. Then, head outside to experience chestnuts roasting on an open fire.  Roasting chestnuts is one of the oldest Christmas traditions, and you can taste-test them!

Sunday, December 17:

If you still have a few gifts to get, visit Santa's TOYS and Evergreen Boutique & Christmas Shop in Kringle Plaza. Let your little ones test some toys inside Santa's TOYS, and they'll love shopping with the pint-sized kid's carts. Evergreen Boutique & Christmas Shop has some in-store events, like face painting, too! They also offer free personalization on ornaments. You can never take enough family photos! There are several Santa Statues to pose with around Kringle Plaza. We love seeing them when you use #SantaSelfie! After this weekend, the 2017 Santa Claus Christmas Celebration will have come and gone. Make it a holiday to remember! Check out local Christmas packages here.
