3 Area Businesses Win 2021 Tripadvisor Award

The 2021 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice award winners have been announced. And three area businesses are proud recipients of this highly sought-after distinction!
What does it mean to be a Travelers’ Choice award winner? It means that the business “consistently earns great reviews from travelers and is ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.”
2021 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Winners
Last year was tumultuous for the travel industry. So, we’re excited to celebrate three area businesses for going above and beyond to provide top-notch experiences for visitors!
A unique place for families (and history buffs!), this resort features Abraham Lincoln-themed cottages, each named after something significant to Abe’s life. Guests are treated to an amazing list of amenities, including fully stocked lakes for fishing, a swimming pool with a splash pad, a game room, and so much more. 
From its charming exterior (the historic building was dedicated in 1935) to its super-sweet selection of treats inside, Santa’s Candy Castle always delights visitors. You can fill up on classic and trendy candies, popcorn, and 35 flavors of cocoa… but don’t forget to save room for the famous frozen hot chocolate!
Each of the cozy cottages is trimmed with fun Christmassy details… but the festiveness doesn’t end there! The resort’s five lakes feature holiday-themed names like Lake Jolly and Candy Cane Cove. Elf Park is home to wooden carvings of Santa and his elves. And guests can take a “dash” around the property on the aptly named Reindeer Express Train.
