2023 Santa Claus Christmas Parade Judges Selected

We went looking for the jolliest of the jolly to judge this year’s Santa Claus Christmas Parade. And lots of amazing entries later, we’ve found them!

A big thank you goes out to everyone who entered the parade judge contest. This year’s entrants went the extra mile to prove their Christmas credentials! Your entries brought us an extra helping of Christmas cheer this year, and it was a difficult (yet rewarding!) job choosing the three winners. 

And the Santa Claus Christmas Parade Judges Are… 

Sherry S. and her husband are traveling from Kermit, WV, to experience the Santa Claus Christmas Celebration for the first time, but they're serious Christmas fans. They've made it their mission to discover festive Christmas experiences, and Sherry says they'll be here "with bells on to help choose the best of the best!"

Heather W.'s family of five is from nearby Tell City, IN, and have made a visit to the town of Santa Claus a yearly tradition. But they aren't just fans of the season during Christmastime—they dress, decorate, and delight in Christmas fun all year long!

Katlynn Fischer is local to Santa Claus, Indiana,and is known to her family as "Mrs. Christmas." Plus, she's got some pretty serious Christmas credentials—she's in the children's party entertainment business and has had floats in more than 10 parades!  

Congratulations to the Winners 

We want to extend hearty congratulations to the three winners. But the honor of judging the Santa Claus Christmas Parade isn’t the only prize they’ve won. Each winner will also receive a Christmas prize pack that includes: one vehicle admission to the Santa Claus Land of Lights, a $25 gift certificate to the Santa Claus Christmas Store, and a $25 gift card to S&S BBQ & Pizzeria.
