Christmas 2021 Sneak Peek

Posted on September 14, 2021

The holiday season will be here before we know it. And Christmas 2021 is shaping up to be one of the most festive yet! There are lots of events happening this year, many returning after being forced to cancel in 2020. And here’s a sneak peek at five we’re looking forward to.

5 Christmas 2021 Events to Look Forward To

Santa Claus Christmas Parade – Canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns, the visitor-favorite event returns this year with a new, longer parade route. Large inflatable Santa is attached to the back of a truck and drives past storefronts and a crowd of parade-goers City of Rockport Christmas Festival – Another COVID-19 casualty, the festivities that take place in the town of Rockport return this year with the traditional parade, breakfast with Santa, a craft show, and the Treemendous Christmas in the Village at Lincoln Pioneer Village & Museum. A man takes a photo of two people sitting on a bench on the porch of a log cabin Santa Claus Arts & Craft Show – Crafters and shoppers alike were disappointed when last year’s craft show was canceled. But vendors are back this year to share their unique and handmade items! Crowds of shopper mill around vendor tables at an arts and crafts show in a school gymnasium “It’s a Wonderful Life” – In 2019, the Lincoln Boyhood Drama Association presented “Scrooge’s Christmas.” This year, the association brings another Christmas classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” to the stage. Christmas Fireworks – The Christmas-themed fireworks display made its holiday debut in 2020 and drew thousands of spectators. And it’s back to light up the skies over Santa Claus, Indiana, again this year! Red, green, and yellow fireworks burst in a dark night sky
