Visit Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial on Saturday, July 16, to see the long-awaited first images from the James Webb Space Telescope! The biggest telescope ever launched into space, the Webb Telescope will unlock the mysteries of our solar system, look to distant worlds around other stars, and explore the mysterious structures and origins of the universe and man’s place in it.
Images will be displayed in the Memorial Visitor Center from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Kids activities will also be available, including space-related art projects and the opportunity to complete the Night Explorer Junior Ranger booklet and earn a pin and patch.
