Former Parade Judge Shares Her Experience

Maybe you’ve thought about entering to be selected as one of three 2016 Santa Claus Christmas Parade Judges, but just weren’t sure about it. What’s it like to be a Santa Claus Christmas Parade Judge, you ask? Well, we’ll let one of the previous judges speak for themselves! Here’s what Kelly, a 2015 parade judge, had to say about her experience:

Q: Why did you want to help judge the 2015 Santa Claus Christmas Parade?

A: I enjoy being involved in my community and felt privileged to be included.

Q: How would you describe your experience as a parade judge?

A: I enjoyed seeing the floats up close and personal along with the people, it was very rewarding.

Q: What was your favorite part about being a judge?

A: The interaction between the other judges and myself.

Q: What’s your favorite parade candy?

A: My favorite parade candy is tootsie rolls.

Q: What advice would you give to the 2016 parade judges?

A: Enjoy the experience and get caught up in the Christmas spirit!
