Fun, Family, and Fruitcake

Fun, family, festivities, and a little bit of fruitcake helped the town of Santa Claus kick off the first of three big Santa Claus Christmas Celebration weekends.

  • Kids participated in craft time at Santa’s Lodge.
  • Families took the time to write their letters to Santa at the Santa Claus Museum.
  • Crowds gathered to watch challengers face off in the International Fruitcake Eating Competition.

There are three weekends of holiday fun remaining and there is plenty of fun for the whole family! Temperatures for next weekend are expected to be in the high 60s, perfect for browsing all three craft show locations, watching the Santa Claus Christmas Parade, or roasting chestnuts on an open fire.
