October is underway. And the month is positively packed with fun fall things to do!

October Events Calendar 

Fall Family Fun Festivities at Lakeview Orchards – Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October, enjoy a corn maze, hayride, U-Pick pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, and apple cider.
Fall Fun Fest and Friends Fall Frolic at Lincoln State Park – Head to the park on Saturdays in October for hayrides, pumpkin painting, games, and more. Families walking through grass toward shelter house at Lincoln State Park Music at Monkey Hollow Winery and Distillery – Visit the winery on Saturdays in October for a relaxing afternoon of live music. Then on October 23, the Harvest Party offers wine samples, food, tours, and more!
Music at Pepper’s Ridge Winery – Enjoy live music and local sips on Saturdays and Sundays throughout October.
Mt. Zion Applefest – Don’t miss getting a taste of one of Indiana’s largest apple pies on October 9 and 10.
Happy Halloween Weekends at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari – Park admission includes extra-special fall activities for the whole family through the end of October!
Kids Days at Pumpkins & More Farm Market – Pumpkin painting, bowling, smashing… enjoy all things pumpkin, plus hayrides, games, and more every Sunday in October! Santa Claus Touch-A-Truck – “Kids” of all ages will have the chance to get up close and personal with fire trucks, police cars, a helicopter, and more on October 23.
Fall Heritage Day at Lincoln Pioneer Village & Museum – Relive history—and experience costumed interpreters and demonstrators—during Fall Heritage Day on October 23. Mother and two kids inside cabin at Lincoln Pioneer Village & Museum Haunted Barn at Pumpkins and More Farm Market – Get your Halloween scares early—the Haunted Barn is open October 23 and 24. 
Brew, Boil, Toil & Trouble at Beloved Farms – This fun-for-all-ages event on October 30 offers pumpkin picking and carving, hayrides, a costume contest, a shrimp boil, and more.
Craft Show at Pumpkins & More Farm Market – Shop local crafts, handmade gifts, food items, produce, and more on October 30.
Yellig Park Trick-or-Treat Trail - Head to Jim Yellig Park on October 31 for candy, inflatables, games, costume contests, food trucks, and more.
