Posted on August 28, 2019

As summer begins to wrap up and we look toward fall, we are often looking for what to do and where to go. Well look no further, there are a ton of events going on in the area during September. Check out all the fun in Santa Claus, Indiana, and sites throughout Lincoln’s Indiana Boyhood Home.

Here’s a quick list of September Events and Ideas:

Enjoy the Outdoors

Outdoor Adventure Package

Zip across the lake, climb a rock wall, flip in the air on the bungee trampoline, and meander around the lake via paddleboat. All of these activities are part of the Outdoor Adventure Package at Santa’s Lodge.

Lincoln State Park AND Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial

Visit Lincoln State Park and discover Indiana’s past throughout 10 miles of hiking trails, forested hills, a nature center, two scenic lakes, and much more. Right across the road, you’ll find the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. Young Abe and his family lived here in a pioneer community from 1816 to 1830.
