Tourism Celebration a Success

The Spencer County Visitors Bureau hosted a Tourism Celebration on March 8, 2022, to recognize the successes of 2021 and look forward to what’s to come in 2022 in Santa Claus, Indiana, and throughout Lincoln’s Indiana Boyhood Home.

Representatives from the area’s attractions, lodging, restaurants, and local organizations were invited to the Spencer County Youth & Community Center to hear highlights from the Visitors Bureau’s annual report, updates on initiatives, and the announcement of a new grant opportunity.

Attendees were also given the chance to share their own updates, and most of the 42 guests took their turn at the microphone. Representatives from Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari previewed the park’s upcoming Holidays in the Sky Drone Show. S&S BBQ & Pizzeria updated the restaurant’s remodeling progress and teased a hopeful April opening. The family-owned Steckler Grassfed Farms spoke about the next generation taking over operations and the exciting changes to come.

Decorations by The Corner House Bed & Breakfast and Event Barns. Breakfast, including a yogurt bar and local meats, by Beloved Farms. Cookies by The Bluebird Bake Shoppe.
