Take in the local atmosphere by attending one of these events going on during your trip. You never know when one may become a part of your family’s traditions!
Summer
Heritage Days and Rendezvous – Visit Lincoln Pioneer Village & Museum on May 16 and 17 to experience candle making, live demonstrations from reenactors, and other activities that celebrate the pioneer lifestyle.
Friday Night Fireworks at Holiday World – View a dazzling fireworks show every Friday night from June 5 – July 31.
Abraham Lincoln Freedom Festival – Celebrate Independence Day with food, live entertainment, and a parade on July 4, 2015.
Rock the World Christian Music Fest – Rock out on August 22, 2015, with headliners Newsboys, Crowder, Sidewalk Prophets and Love & the Outcome at Holiday World’s annual festival.
Fall
Civil War Ball – Dress up in period costumes and learn dances from days gone by during the ball.
Mt. Zion Apple Fest – Have a piece of Indiana’s largest apple pie!
Halloween Weekends at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort – Decorate your camp site and participate in costume contests, glow parades, dance parties, and more.
Winter
Santa Claus Christmas Celebration – Enjoy family events during the first three weekends of December including a parade, visits with Santa, light shows, and more.
Christmas Lake Village Festival of Lights – Get in the Christmas spirit by viewing nine miles of bright and festive residential light displays.
Das Nikolaus Fest – This fun festival features German-inspired food, beer tastings, music, and entertainment.
