Where to Stay During Solar Eclipse Weekend

If you haven’t secured a place to stay during the 2024 Solar Eclipse, have no fear! The Santa Claus, Indiana, area has hotels, cabins, campsites, and vacation rentals still available during Eclipse Weekend, April 5-8, 2024.  

Cabins, Cottages, & Vacation Rentals 

Spread out and relax! Experience totality at Santa’s Lakeside Cottages or Lincoln Pines Lakefront Resort. Select from one- or two-bedroom cabins with great playgrounds where younger guests can burn off some energy. Each resort is offering a special deal for Eclipse Weekend; click the links above to find out more. 

Vacation rentals are available throughout the Santa Claus, Indiana – and nearby – area. From Mistletoe Manor, which sleeps up to 21 people, to Lincoln’s Hideaway, near Lincoln State Park. Book a room at Santa’s Lodge and receive a discount during Eclipse Weekend. Or stay just down the road at the Quality Inn & Suites in Rockport—the more nights you stay, the more you save! Guest House 

Enjoy a quaint and peaceful weekend at the Saint Meinrad Archabbey Guest House. Tour the incredible grounds, shop at the onsite Saint Meinrad Books and Gifts, and then visit Monte Cassino to experience the Solar Eclipse.  

Go Camping 

Enjoy eclipse weekend with a stay under the stars! Camp sites are still available at Lincoln State Park in Lincoln City, and there are tons of things to do at the park all weekend long, including the Total Eclipse of the Park event on Sunday, April 7. 

Prefer to camp somewhere that’s a little off the beaten path, yet still close to all the action? Opt to stay at the beautiful and relaxing Oakridge Campground in Rockport.
