Did you know its Love A Tree Day today?

Have you ever thought about all the things trees provide for us and the animals? Fruit bearing trees provide food, many offer us shade, places to swing and climb, wood to be used for all kinds of things, oxygen to provide our air, homes for animals, and don't forget about their simple beauty.

What a great time to take a walk in Lincoln State Park or on the grounds of the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial.

Hug a tree, take a picture under one, or just enjoy the scenery of finally having leaves on the trees again!
